A Hybrid system is when your Solar Power System still remains connected to the grid’s power lines and have a backup Battery system to store excess power.

Adding Battery system to your Solar Power System (minimal 6.6kW) can generate enough electricity to charge your batteries and save your energy consumption from the grid when the sun isn’t shining. This will decrease your energy bills and allows you to use stored solar energy during peak evening times. With the Hybrid Solar System, if you were to use up all the power in your battery, you still have the ability to draw power from the grid.

How does it work? A Hybrid Solar System works by sending Solar power to your inverter, which then sends energy to power your home. The Energy which isn’t used to power your household goes to your battery. After the battery is fully charged and the System is still producing energy, that energy will be sent to the grid.

A typical Solar Panel measures are 1.8m x1m, so you’ll need 32 square meters of roof space. The size of the panel on different brands will affect the overall area needed.
